The Shortline Sub runs between New Martinsville and Clarksburg, WV. There are three tunnels, and very little straight track as the line weaves along creeks through the hills.

In the last light of the day, with storms in the area, a rare YN2 EMD pulled in on the front of 317. The yard is littered with EMDs today, as a local crew tries to start up an SD50-3.
